95 Points – 2018 James Halliday Australian Wine Companion

‘Has developed very well since first tasted in Aug 14’.  The hue is still bright and clear, the red fruits still in control, although spicy/savoury/foresty notes are absolutely part of the mix.  May be getting close to its peak, but the original drink-to year 23’ stands, as do the original points.

95 Points – 2016 James Halliday Australian Wine Companion

‘That Tony Murphy magic is on full display here: first, finding the grapes;  second, handling them with suck skill; and third, managing to sell wine at this price.  The fragrant bouquet is flooded with red fruits, the supple and satisfying palate finishing with a trumpet of darker fruit, integrated French oak, and perfectly weighted spicy acidity.’

86 Points – Huon Hooke 2015
