1. TRENTHAM ESTATE PTY LTD
a. Our organisation is Trentham Estate Pty Ltd, ABN 23 005 508 289 (referred to herein as ‘Trentham Estate’).
b. Unless otherwise acknowledged, copyright in all material on this web site is owned by Trentham Estate. Persons wishing to reproduce content within this web site must seek the permission of the owners/management of Trentham Estate.
c. Trentham Estate through the images and content material contained within this web site, encourage the consumption of alcoholic beverages by adults of legal drinking age only. Trentham Estate recommends that wine be enjoyed responsibly and in moderation.
d. By entering your details to make a purchase, you are offering to make a contract to purchase goods from Trentham Estate. The goods will be sold on the basis of the terms and conditions set out below. Please read these terms carefully.
e. The contract is made at our licenced premises, Sturt Highway, Trentham Cliffs, New South Wales 2738, from where the goods will be dispatched under our liquor licence number 24001559.
f. It is illegal for us to sell alcohol to persons under eighteen (18) years of age. By entering and confirming payment details in our online shop, you are certifying that you are eighteen (18) years of age or older.
g. It is an offence to obtain liquor on behalf of a person under the age of eighteen (18) years; this includes purchasing the wines as a gift.
2. DELIVERY POLICY
a. We deliver within Australia only, using Australia Post. Some addresses may be outside of Australia Post’s delivery areas. Delivery to a Post Office box is available.
b. After confirming your order online, you will receive an email confirmation from both Trentham Estate and either eWay or PayPal confirming your order and/or payment details.
c. We will attempt to dispatch your goods via Australia Post within 3 business days of order placement. On dispatch, you will receive an email from Australia Post notifying of this and with a link to trace your shipment via their website.
d. Vintage are subject to change and are dispatched as they occur, at the discretion of Trentham Estate.
e. Delivery fees:
a. Victoria/New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory/South Australia $10.00 per consignment
b. Queensland/Tasmania $20.00 per consignment
c. Western Australia/Northern Territory $30.00 per consignment
‘Per consignment’ refers to a one full customer shipment rather than one single case of wine; therefore the number of cases delivered under the delivery fee is not limited (eg. an order of 2/3/4 cases to Melbourne would still be charged $10.00 delivery), however for orders of 10 dozen or more delivery is charged at Trentham Estate’s discretion.
f. Approximate delivery times (from dispatch of goods from Cellar Door, and ensuing Australia Post dispatch notification):
a. Melbourne & regional Victoria 2-3 days
b. Adelaide & regional South Australia 2-3 days
c. Sydney & Brisbane 3-4 days
d. Regional New South Wales, Tasmania 4-5 days
e. Regional Queensland 5-6 days
f. Western Australia & Northern Territory 5-7 days
While we will exercise reasonable endeavours to deliver by any requested or agreed date, we cannot guarantee delivery on any exact date and we are not liable for any loss resulting from late delivery.
g. The goods will not be delivered to persons under the age of eighteen (18) years. We may request that the person receiving the delivery of goods provides satisfactory proof of age. We will refuse to deliver the goods if the person receiving the goods is unable to provide evidence of proof of age.
h. We are required by law to give written instructions to the person responsible for the delivery of the liquor, requiring that the liquor be delivered:
a. To the person who placed the order, or
b. To another adult at those premises who undertakes to accept it on behalf of the person who placed the order, or
c. If delivery takes place on a day following the placing of an order, in accordance with the customer’s instructions but always to a person over the age of eighteen (18) years.
h. Anyone at the nominated delivery address who receives the goods (as per the above conditions) is presumed to be authorised to receive the goods.
i. Trentham Estate does not accept any returns of wine. We will however replace any wine that is deemed to be ‘faulty’ in any way as authorised by both the customer and the winemaker within 14 days of delivery of the order, or damaged in transit as reported by Australia Post. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to notify of any problems relating to your goods.
a. Our prices are subject to variations on the rare occasion. The price payable for the goods is the price applicable on the date your order was placed.
b. Trentham Estate uses the eWAY Payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions. eWAY processes online credit card transactions for thousands of Australian merchants, providing a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet. All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the eWAY gateway are secured payments.
• Payments are fully automated with an immediate response.
• Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by Trentham Estate or any outside party.
• All transactions are performed under 128 Bit SSL Certificate.
• All transaction data is encrypted for storage within eWAY’s bank-grade data centre, further protecting your credit card data.
• eWAY is an authorised third party processor for all the major Australian banks.
• eWAY at no time touches your funds; all monies are directly transferred from your credit card to the merchant account held by Trentham Estate.

c. Payments are also able to processed via PayPal. Customers who choose this payment method are subject to the terms and conditions of PayPal in regards to their individual transaction.
d. You are responsible to maintain the confidentiality of your site login password. You are also responsible for any and all activities that occur using your password, including in relation to your personal information. You must immediately notify Trentham Estate of any unauthorised use of your logon or password or any other breach of security of which you become aware.
4. TRENTHAM ESTATE WINE CLUB
a. Your fixed package price depends on your wine selection.
b. Fixed order quantities of 12, 24 or 36 bottles apply.
c. Discounts are applied as follows:
a. Bi-monthly package (minimum of 6 dozen per year) 25% discount
b. Quarterly package (minimum of 4 dozen per year) 20% discount
c. Twice-yearly package (minimum of 2 dozen per year) 15% discount
d. Discounts are applied to wine price total only, before delivery fees
d. Delivery fees are applicable, as outlined above in item 2(e).
e. Wine Club packs are dispatched on the date corresponding with when the membership and pack selection was set up originally. For example, if a member locks in their membership for a bi-monthly wine package on the 11th of July, their first bundle will be dispatched as soon as possible (see 2(c)); the second dispatch will then occur on the 11th of September (ref 2(c)), the third on 11th of November and so on. Customers should take this into account when considering their membership options – if they are keen to receive a case or more of wine timed in with the approach of Christmas or another special occasion, we recommend they confirm their membership on a date pertaining to this.
f. Trentham Estate reserves the right to cancel a customer’s membership at any time.
g. Members must fulfil their first year of membership by receiving the originally selected number of cases and shipments within the initial 12 month period. The individual wine products selected can be altered, but the quantity of bottles and therefore cases, and shipments, cannot be changed until a full years’ membership has been reached.
h. Members who have reached 12 months or more of membership are able to modify their Wine Club package arrangement at any time by editing their choices within their account login on this website, or by phoning Trentham Estate to discuss their changes with a Cellar Door staff member directly.
i. Members who have reached 12 months or more of membership are able to cancel their Wine Club membership at any time, no questions asked and no fees charged. This can be done by phoning Trentham Estate direct.
j. Members who have reached 12 months or more of membership are able to arrange a hiatus from their wine package postage arrangement for up to six (6) months. This can be done by phoning Trentham Estate direct to discuss.
k. Members who do not fulfil their first year of membership within the terms outlined in 4(g) will be charged a cancellation fee of $45.00 and their membership will cease. This amount will be debited from the credit card they originally nominated for their membership arrangement, or from an alternative card as agreed with the member.
